David Selex is the head chef and creative force at Hartwell Food Co.

David was born in Melbourne, and has lived, travelled, and worked internationally for over 15 years. Throughout his 30+ year hospitality career, David has passed through some of the world's most renowned kitchens, including Melbourne's Florentino and Bacash, and London's Nobu, Vong, Kensington Place, The Mews of Mayfair, The Sugar Club, The Grocer on Elgin & Wahaca He has also written pieces for magazine editorials and made appearances on the BBC (Master Chef UK).

An epicurean at heart, David's inspiration comes from great produce, teamwork and a love of preparing beautiful food. He sources fine fresh produce from local Australian suppliers and brings years of experience and exacting standards to his cooking and menu development.

For these reasons, HFC ready made meals are not like other ready meals on the market. HFC meals are made to order and small batch production ensures they stay fresh and tasty. 

Dave's meals are comparable to a generous restaurant meal - made with hearty cuts of meat, fresh vegetables & herbs, no preservatives and loads of love!!
