HARTWELL FOOD CO was established in 2019, by an experienced chef wishing to offer restaurant quality ready meals to the local community.
HFC head chef David Selex aims to provide fresh, healthy ready made meals conveniently delivered to your door.
David was born in Melbourne, and has lived, travelled and worked internationally for over 15 years. Throughout his 30 plus year career, he has passed through some of the world's most renowned kitchens - including Melbourne's Florentino and Bacash, and London's Nobu, Vong, Kensington Place, The Mew of Mayfair, The Sugar Club, The Grocer on Elgin & Wahaca. He has also written pieces for magazine editorials and made appearances on the BBC (including Master Chef UK).
David's inspiration comes from great produce, teamwork and the love of preparing beautiful food for all occasions. He loves sourcing fine products from proud local suppliers.
David brings years of experience and exacting standards to his cooking and menu development, using fine selected products and flavours from around the globe.
