HARTWELL FOOD CO was established in 2019, by an experienced chef wishing to offer restaurant quality ready meals to the local community.
HFC head chef David Selex aims to provide fresh, healthy ready made meals conveniently delivered to your door.
David is Melbourne born, however he has lived, travelled and worked internationally throughout his career.
David has trained & worked in some of the world's most renowned kitchens - including Melbourne's Florentino and Bacash, and London's Nobu, Vong, Kensington Place, The Mew of Mayfair, The Sugar Club, The Grocer on Elgin & Wahaca. He has also written pieces for magazine editorials and made appearances on the BBC (including Master Chef UK).
David's inspiration comes from great produce, teamwork and the love of preparing beautiful food for all occasions. He loves sourcing fine products from proud local suppliers.
David brings years of experience and exacting standards to his cooking and menu development, using fine selected products and flavours from around the globe.
